However, she has been working in the wedding industry for the last year already. She is excited to connect with brides and work with them more closely to bring their dream day to life! (Saturdays only.) A little about Jen: Hi, I’m Jen! I am a wedding coordinator with a heart for organization, creativity, and making people feel truly celebrated. I’m married to my wonderful husband, and together we’re raising our three busy, sports-loving kids. Our family loves spending time on the lake and hanging out with our favorite people. By day, I’m also a dedicated elementary teacher, which has taught me patience, communication, and the ability to handle anything that comes my way—all skills that blend beautifully with wedding coordination. I’ve always adored weddings. There’s something magical about helping couples bring their vision to life and ensuring their day unfolds seamlessly. My goal is to make every couple feel special, supported, and stress-free so they can fully enjoy one of the most meaningful moments of their lives. Working within the wedding industry is something I have wanted to do since my sophomore year of high school. And....here I am now. There is more on the back story in the 'About Us' section if that interests you.
I graduated from MSU (Mankato MN) in 2019 with a degree in Recreation Parks and Leisure Services (RPLS). With a focus in Leisure Planning Management (LPM). Our classes consisted of many things, but my favorites were when we were learning how to plan an event, start to finish. Events, regardless of it being a wedding or not, has so many moving parts. Which is what we specialize in! Our goal is to help ease any stress that inevitably comes along with your events. - Let us do the worrying so you don't have to.
Memorable Moments by KW was started my senior year of college in 2019. For the last 8 years I've been grinding to bring my visions to life. And the 2 year prior to that, working within other aspects of the industry to further my knowledge and experience. I am beyond blessed with the clients I've been able to help, vendors I've built relationships with and honestly the name that I've built for myself within this industry. I am very pleased to welcome our 3 other planners to the team and expand the number of couples we're able to help. No matter what planner you have for your day, I can assure you that you will be in good hands. - I am kind of particular...haha, they surpass all expectations I could ever have.
What I love most about the industry and what I do:
I love the impact I am able to make on someone else's day. To allow someone ease on a day that is notoriously known for causing stress/chaos is the best gift you can give them. The feeling I get inside hearing 1 'thank you' from my couple or a family member, is a high that could last a lifetime. Being apart of someone's wedding day is an honor you carry forever.
Industry wise - I love the connections within the industry. The bond you form with other vendors even at the first time meeting them. We all have this mutual understanding and respect that we do all things possible to ensure our couples have a wonderful day. Even if that means taking on a job that isn't 'our job'. <-- Because I don't even know what that phrase means! We are in your corner 100%.
